What is happening
Mainstream maintenance for SAP PO 7.5 ends. After that, only paid extended maintenance until the end of 2030.

Java support ends at the end of 2030. From 2031, SAP NetWeaver AS Java 7.5 moves to customer-specific maintenance with no follow-on release.

Two bridges, one managed flow of traffic
Live traffic moves gradually from the old bridge to the new one, without downtime. The table shows the share of traffic on both bridges in each of the six phases.

How we build: four phases
Design
A 6-week assessment: inventory, Migrate · Adapt · Redesign · Retire, target architecture and a wave plan.
Build
Platform foundations: tenant, security, connectivity, monitoring, operating model. The old bridge keeps carrying traffic.
Migrate
Migration in waves. Each wave goes through testing, stabilisation and hypercare before the next one starts.
Decommission
Controlled removal: decommissioning, archiving, an end to dependencies and technical debt.
